About the platform
RestoCheck is an independent, ad-free platform that makes official NVWA inspection results accessible to consumers. The platform provides insight into the food safety of more than 30,000 restaurants throughout the Netherlands.
RestoCheck was launched in 2026 and was built on the conviction that public government data should actually be accessible to everyone — not just those who know how to search the NVWA website.
The platform shows no advertisements and sells no data. Funding comes exclusively from voluntary contributions from users.
